A graduate of the University of Texas School of Law, and a lawyer for over 40 years, Evan has been board certified in criminal law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization since 1998.

Along the way, he has represented defendants from almost every walk of life, on charges ranging from misdemeanors like first offense driving while intoxicated and reckless driving to high profile drug cases, sexual assaults, and capital murder, and including cases involving intense local and national news coverage.

When it Comes to Criminal Defense...Experience Matters

Believe it or not, any Texas attorney is allowed handle any Texas criminal case.

Think about it. A rookie who just got licensed is allowed take on a complex sex assault or murder case... Even if that lawyer has never tried a case in his or her life.

It takes experience to learn the courtroom skills a lawyer needs to try a complex case. And its just common sense that experience goes a long way when a prosecutor decides whether to take a defense lawyer seriously.

Evan has been trying serious criminal cases for over 25 years.
